Refund & Cancellation Policy
We would rather refund you than have you feel stuck. This page says exactly when you get your money back.

01The short version
Credits: 30 days. A first subscription charge: 14 days. Tell us what went wrong, no form, no fee.
Email edoublemusic@icloud.com within 30 days and tell us what went wrong. There is no form to fill in and no restocking fee.
You get 5 free masters every month before you spend anything, specifically so you can hear the engine on your own music first. Please use them - it is the best way to know whether this is for you.
02Credit purchases
Unused credits: refunded within 30 days, no questions. Used ones: tell us what went wrong.
Single, EP and Album purchases buy credits, one per master exported.
- Unused credits - full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason.
- Partly used - we refund the unused portion within 30 days.
- Fully used - if the masters were not what we led you to expect, email us and we will make it right. If a technical fault produced a bad file, that is a refund, not a debate.
When we refund a purchase we may remove the credits it granted, including automatically. We will not claw back a master you have already downloaded.
03Unlimited subscriptions
- First period - full refund within 14 days of your first charge, for any reason.
- Renewals - charged for a renewal you did not want and have not meaningfully used? Email us within 30 days of the charge and we will refund it.
- Cancelling - access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro-rate a partial month, because you keep the access.
04How to cancel
Email us. There is no cancel button in the app yet, and we are not going to pretend there is.
Email edoublemusic@icloud.com from the address on your account and we will cancel your subscription and confirm by reply.
No dark patterns
We will not make you sit through a retention flow, and we will not ask you three times whether you are sure. You asked; it is cancelled.
05How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5-10 business days depending on your bank. We do not substitute store credit unless you ask for it.
06Before you file a chargeback
Email us first. It is faster, and it costs us a fee we would rather not pay.
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee and freezes the conversation for weeks; almost every case is faster to solve directly. We are not trying to talk you out of your rights - only out of the slow path.
